MINISTRIES: be a connection

Here's a list of some ways to get involved serving with us at Christ Church as we seek to fulfill our mission...

Get Involved - call (501) 843-2302.

Set-up Ministries

Assist in a monthly rotation to set-up or take-down any areas of the church. Each participant will receive training and instruction.

Unloading the truck (Sundays, 8:00 am)

Carry/roll heavy items off the truck to place in the assigned set-up areas.

Hospitality Set-Up (Sundays, 8:30 am)

Get the coffee going, set up the refreshment table and informational table, place toiletry baskets in the restrooms.

Altar Set-Up (Sundays, 9:00 am)

Place the proper vestments on the altar, including the cloths, the cross and Bibles, offering plates, and other special symbolic or decorative items.

Youth/Children’s Set-Up (Sundays, 8:30 am)

Setting up the tables, chairs, or other items required for children’s and youth Sunday School.

Teaching Ministries

Offering approved curriculum and care for groups of all ages within the church. Training will be offered for each area of service.

Sunday School, preK-6^th grade

Assist in teaching for a monthly rotation on Sunday mornings.

Nursery Ministries

Care for children during the worship service along with the paid nursery worker.

Vacation Bible School

All interested will be contacted to determine the best area of service.

Youth Ministries

Assist in teaching/facilitating discussion for youth during Sunday School hour. The ability to be flexible, creative and to engage youth is critical.

Adult Ministries

Assist in teaching Sunday School Classes or leading a Cell Group.

Worship

Training will be offered for every area listed.

Help with PowerPoint/Sound System

Community Outreach & Missions

A combination of service ministries and evangelism ministries are included in this area. Many varied public service ministries are offered but the ones listed below happen on a somewhat regular or seasonal basis.

Invite friends to visit worship

Walk flyers in neighborhoods prior to community events
